Risk Product is the management of the systems and suppliers that decision customers for credit. The UK business has moved onto a new platform to acquire credit customers, which incorporates a new decision engine.
This platform is live in the UK and will be rolled out across other European markets starting with Germany, giving the business scope for greater flexibility and agility to add new features and make enhancements going forward.
5+ years’ experience working with digital data-oriented products in a digital product team. Thorough knowledge of credit risk systems, bureaus and practices within Germany and Europe. Proven experience in product management in the remit of ‘back-end’ digital services in a software or tech company, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products (front or backend or both) throughout their lifecycle. Knowledge of Financial services sector within Germany. An excellent communicator with the ability to articulate and advocate for the product vision and strategy, especially in and across back-end digital services. Technically proficient with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. An organized, detail orientated person who can ask the right questions to help ensure we ship amazing products A self-starter who shows initiative and self-drive to get the job done. Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education. Excellent knowledge of the German language as frequent cooperation with German suppliers (e.g. credit bureaus) is required.
