About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of our Machine Learning Platform that powers AI-driven innovation across our insurance products. You will own the product roadmap for the ML Platform, collaborating closely with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and compliance stakeholders to deliver tools that scale the end-to-end model lifecycle—from experimentation to production deployment.
This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role for a platform-minded PM who thrives in complex technical environments and wants to make a meaningful impact by enabling smarter decision-making in the insurance industry through ML and AI.
Job Description
ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the ML Platform product vision and roadmap to enable scalable, secure, and efficient ML model development and deployment across the enterprise.
Partner with stakeholders in Data Science, Engineering, Actuarial, Claims, and Underwriting to understand pain points and translate them into platform capabilities.
Prioritize investments across core areas like model training, versioning, deployment, monitoring, governance, and MLOps automation.
Drive adoption by tightly integrating ML Platform with broader Data Platform & App platform and enabling seamless data access, feature reuse and model deployment pipelines.
Ensure alignment with insurance regulatory and compliance requirements, including model auditability, fairness, explainability, and documentation.
Define and track platform success metrics: model deployment velocity, system uptime, experiment reproducibility, user satisfaction, etc.
Collaborate with platform engineering teams to ship robust, scalable features with clear documentation and self-service tooling.
Lead product rituals (roadmaps, backlogs, reviews) and promote a product-led culture within the ML engineering organization.
Required Qualifications8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on ML platforms, data platforms, or developer tools.
Strong technical background or experience working closely with ML, MLOps, or infrastructure teams.
Proven ability to define and deliver complex platform products in a B2B or enterprise SaaS environment.
Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and engage deeply with technical teams, including debugging, architecture discussions, and hands-on tooling evaluations.
Experience conducting user research, developer interviews, and feedback sessions to iterate quickly and build intuitive ML tools..
Demonstrated success in scaling platform products from concept to enterprise-wide adoption, even with limited initial clarity or resourcing
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially across data science, engineering, and compliance teams.
Deep understanding of the ML lifecycle: experimentation, training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in the insurance domain or a related highly regulated industry (e.g., fintech, healthcare).
Familiarity with tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Feature Stores (e.g., Feast/Tecton), Airflow, DVC, etc.
Experience managing ML model governance, bias detection, or explainability frameworks.
Background in machine learning, statistics, or software engineering is a strong plus (e.g., MS/PhD or prior engineering experience).
Experience building products for data scientists, ML engineers, or platform teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000 - $245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
