The Salesforce Digital Enterprise Technology team is responsible for the innovation of the Salesforce digital experience globally, leveraging best-in-class technology and systems—including Salesforce’s platform and Agentforce. This role:
As Senior Product Manager for Digital Productivity, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy and execution for the DevOps product platform and the roadmaps for end-to-end toolchain orchestration, insights and release automation, in partnership with engineering teams. This is a critical role as we build a platform that unites our various platforms, products and organizations into a single platform and a unified experience - a brand new Agentic Experience. The successful candidate will have a track record of shaping strategy for technical products or services, and an understanding of reliability, scalability and performance of production services. The successful candidate will have expertise in the Digital landscape and a proven ability to deliver platform capabilities.

In your career, you will have had a consistent record of technical delivery, driving roadmaps for technical product, partnership and leadership. You will work with a group of very savvy, highly motivated software engineers. We are looking for someone with leadership skills, a history of working in an agile development methodology and the ability to operate within short release cycles.

Responsibilities

Build the vision and strategy for our DevOps product framework with end-to-end toolchain orchestration and release automation. Be excited to innovate and surprise developers with tools that increase their efficiency

Collaborate with security, architecture, engineering, program, and infrastructure partners in coordinating delivery of complex, multi-year initiatives

Establish prioritized roadmaps and implement strategies for execution in close collaboration with engineering management

Translate product roadmaps and feature requests into models, workflow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artifacts

Provide regular updates to leadership, escalating items when needed but with presence and relationships to identify and resolve most issues independently

Engage closely with Engineering teams on functional-technical-operational aspects including validation and features sign-off

Function independently and as part of a team under aggressive deadlines in a (really) fast-paced environment, convey a strong professional image, exhibit interest and positive attitude toward all assigned work, and strive for continued improvement. Discussing the need for and importance of performance testing to capture metrics for insight in application and infrastructure's performance

The position is based in Hyderabad and requires flexible work shift schedule to accommodate meetings with North American stakeholders and partners

Required Skills/ Experience:

10+ years of overall experience with minimum of 3 years as a Technical Product Manager with good understanding of architecture and technology

Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps ecosystem, CDN and related technologies

Experience with deploying and managing services in public cloud such as AWS.

Good understanding of application development practices and methods

Understanding the infrastructure and application design to plan performance tests accordingly

Familiar and comfortable with agile/scrum development methodologies

Ability to communicate effectively with business as well as technical audiences. Able to write clear and concise documentation, excellent written and spoken communication skills

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent experience

Desired Skills/Experience:

You have come from a development background and moved into product management

Experience using Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or other related frameworks/Platform

Represent/enable the performance test process, reporting and communication to the different product teams

Knowledge of performance testing tools (Loadrunner, Jmeter, Postman, Katalon and other open-source performance tools)
