Senior Product Manager
Job Summary:

At Disney Experiences Technology & Digital our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. 

 
We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest and Cast experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, PhotoPass and Merchandise lines of business, which includes Room and Tickets eCommerce and products such as MagicBand+, Disney Genie and Lightning Lane. 

 

Role & team: 

The Profile and Planning team powers critical platform-level products across our apps and websites for all Disney Parks globally. The team’s portfolio includes discovery and itinerary products including Guest Profiles, Family & Friends, Guest connection methods and Trip Party. This Senior Product Manager is responsible for the strategic direction of digitally led initiatives within the Profile & Planning Portfolio of products. 

 

 
What You’ll Do: 

Contribute to the creation of the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Onsite Experience Portfolio (Map, List, Curated Maps, Detail Pages) across functional product areas. 

Collaborate with Product Managers at all levels within the portfolio, supporting initiatives across multiple programs, including Product Operations and Sustainment, Platform enhancements, and new and emerging products. 

Collect, maintain and prioritize product vision and requirements from business partners. Work with the technology team to define and document the detailed requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather requirements for large scale projects. 

Support digital teams in a data-informed way, using industry qualitative and quantitative research, documentation, reporting/analytics, project coordination, testing, and general coordination of feature launches/improvements. 

Actively practice a hypothesis-driven and test measurement approach, while staying tuned into marketing technology trends and new emerging technologies. 

Champion the role of Product Owner with writing user stories, backlog refinement and prioritization, and user acceptance testing.  

Impact the decisions of our technology partners and provide continuous feedback to ensure that requirements are being met. Represent for product management in daily activities related to product roll-out. Attend daily scrums to drive priority decisions and address roadblocks. 

Work with development teams by ensuring they have a deep understanding of the product objectives and priority, and helping the teams translate the product concepts into user stories, epics, and other appropriate product documentation. 

Build positive relationships with critical team members (fellow product managers, engineering, data, creative, pricing, revenue management, marketing, sales, operations, etc.) to build and lead scope expectations across product lines, destinations, and brands within Disney Experiences. 

Present vision and strategy plans to executive leadership through the entire project lifecycle for the portfolio’s products. 

 
Qualifications 

5+ years of dedicated involvement in digital product management, specializing in crafting seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms. 
Seasoned Product Owner, adept at steering development teams towards delivering tangible business value, making use of insights from diverse collaborators and partners. 

Advocate for elevating digital experiences, committed to championing the interests of Disney Guests, and meticulously crafting exceptional digital interactions. 

Exhibited strong analytical and quantitative competencies, using concrete data and metrics to validate assumptions and formulate project use cases. 

Demonstrated a consistent track record of fostering effective communication and collaboration, yielding actionable outcomes, and fostering enduring relationships across all organizational levels. 

Skilled in identifying, defining, and resolving technical, user, and business challenges within a dynamic interpersonal framework, adept at delving into details while maintaining a strategic outlook. 

Proficient in Product Management delivery processes, including User Story/Defect writing, prioritization, and triage. 

Proficient in crafting high-level, polished presentations suitable for executive audiences, with minimal oversight required. 
Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, including experience with JIRA/Confluence tools. 

 

Education:  

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
