Senior Product Manager

Lee Enterprises is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of digital experiences that power our news and content platforms. In this role, you’ll shape the roadmap for high-impact B2C features that drive audience growth, engagement, and monetization. You’ll work closely with engineering, UX, and editorial teams to deliver products that serve millions of readers across web and mobile channels.

Qualifications:
5+ years in digital product management, with at least 2 years focused on media, publishing, or B2C platforms. Deep understanding of audience engagement, content distribution, and monetization strategies (ads, subscriptions, paywalls). Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodology. Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, editorial, marketing, UX) to deliver consumer-first products. Skilled in presenting ideas to senior executives and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and communication. Familiarity with SEO, Core Web Vitals, and responsive design best practices.
Preferred Traits and Experience
Experience with Pragmatic Product Management, AWS’ working backwards or a similar product management lifecycle approach. Passionate about journalism, storytelling, and the evolving digital news landscape. A data-informed thinker who can balance intuition with measurable outcomes. Comfortable working across legacy systems and modern platforms to deliver real results.
