Join Gilead and help create possible, together. **Job Description** **Knowledge:** Must have a strong knowledge of the overall pharmaceutical industry, with robust expertise and excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills. Must be familiar with industry trends and remain current with competitors’ resources and practices. Must be able to analyze moderately complex data and prepare effective, concise reports while meeting all deadlines. Must be capable of formulating and executing development strategies. Building strong Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships is essential. Excellent analytical skills are required, with the ability to identify and understand complex issues and problems, interpret information, and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management. Experience must include in-depth familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategies, sales, and commercial policies and practices. A demonstrated ability to conceive, develop, and implement multi-dimensional business plans is essential. Must have proven experience in managing budgets and excellence in project management, effectively handling multiple projects/priorities. An in-depth understanding of the relevant marketplace for this role is required. Must be willing to travel extensively based on business needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required. A basic conversational and written level of English is also necessary. **Specific education and experience requirements:** Typically requires a BA or BS degree, preferably in the sciences, business-related disciplines, or a nursing qualification, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or relevant industry, including 1-2 years of relevant therapeutic experience. **Specific job responsibilities:** This role is within the Business Unit **Liver, Antifungals & COVID-19** , specifically as **(Senior) Product Manager for PBC** The responsibilities include a strong strategic and operative focus on marketing activities to achieve business objectives. + **Sales Tools Development:** Responsible for defining, creating, and updating sales tools (e.g., brochures, slide decks, training materials, digital resources) in alignment with the strategic objectives and field force needs. Ensures these tools are impactful, user-friendly, and aligned with brand messaging and regulatory requirements. + **Event Planning and Organization:** Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including advisory boards, scientific symposia, congress activities, and internal training sessions. Oversees logistics, content development, speaker engagement, and ensures high-quality delivery within timelines and budgets. + **Plan of Action (POA):** Manages the entire lifecycle of the POA, including its definition in close collaboration with the cross functional team, writing, and approval process. Ensures adherence to timelines, prepares comprehensive documentation, and delivers impactful presentations to internal stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams and global teams. Monitors the implementation of the POA and evaluates its outcomes to refine future strategies. + **Collaboration with Stakeholders:** Works closely with internal departments (medical, regulatory, market access, governmental affairs and public affairs) and external stakeholders (agencies, and KOLs) to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities. + **Performance Monitoring and Reporting:** Utilizes analytical tools to assess marketing initiatives, and generate actionable insights. Provides regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations. + **KOL and Customer Engagement:** Builds and sustains strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, forms strategic partnerships with key customers and accounts. + **Budget Management:** Oversees the planning and monitoring of budgets for marketing activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
