**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
+ 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
+ Experience with device protection programs or other carrier device protection programs.
+ Experience working with carriers, retailers, and third-party party sellers of device protection.
+ Experience managing device repair user experiences.
+ Experiencing scaling businesses to multiple countries.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
Preferred Care is a global service providing peace of mind through device repairs, replacements, and support, spanning all of Google’s hardware portfolio. As we seek to improve and expand this program, we are looking for an experienced product leader to guide the development and growth of the product.
In this role, you will lead the product goal, roadmap, and growth/GTM for Preferred Care, Google’s flagship device protection program. You will focus on improving the user experience for Preferred Care, expanding the program globally, and growing the business.Google aims to build products that organize the world's information and make it universally accessible to our users. As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities:**
+ Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.
+ Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
+ Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on technologies.
+ Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
