**About the Role**
Are you passionate about creating delightful experiences that impact millions of travelers around the world? Airport travel presents one of Uber’s most exciting and rapidly expanding frontiers.
As a Product Manager on the Airports team, you will define and execute the strategy to launch innovative products and new business lines that address the unique challenges and opportunities of airport transportation. Your work will have a global footprint, shaping how Uber serves Riders during one of their most critical journey moments—airport travel.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of Uber’s marketplace dynamics, empathy for the user experience, creativity in solving novel problems, and exceptional stakeholder management to drive impact at scale.
**What the Candidate Will Do**
- **Develop Product Vision and Strategy**: Define the long-term vision for Uber’s airport and travel products, and translate it into a strategic 6–12 month roadmap that aligns with broader Rider and Marketplace goals.
- **Drive Execution**: Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design teams to build and launch products that elegantly solve real-world problems.
- **Translate Insights into Action**: Leverage research and analytics—both qualitative and quantitative—to deeply understand user needs and translate them into clear hypotheses, product requirements, and measurable outcomes.
- **Collaborate Cross-Functionally**: Partner with teams across product, operations, and regional business teams to ensure alignment between product strategy and go-to-market execution.
- **Own the Plan**: Set clear OKRs, build three- and six-month plans for your team, and maintain accountability to business outcomes.
**Basic Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience of direct product management experience, with a track record of delivering successful consumer-facing products.
- Strong design sensibility and product judgment.
- Data-driven decision-making and prioritization skills.
- Effective collaboration across global, cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with hypothesis-driven development and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, MVP launches, etc.).
- Strategic thinking and a strong grasp of system and experience design.
- A track record of developing high-quality solutions grounded in deep customer empathy.
- Technical background or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with hypothesis-driven development and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, MVP launches, etc.).
- Strategic thinking and a strong grasp of system and experience design.
- A track record of developing high-quality solutions grounded in deep customer empathy.
- Technical background or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Passion for travel, with familiarity in airport operations, logistics, or transportation infrastructure.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
