Senior Product Feedback Analyst
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. + 6 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role. + 6 years of experience in statistical problem-solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++). Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, etc.). + 4 years of experience with designing experiments, developing statistical models, measurement, and identifying business opportunities. + Experience influencing executive leadership on investigative decision making. + Ability to effectively communicate analysis and recommendations across a wide range of non-technical audiences. As a Product Feedback Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and synthesizing product feedback from various sources to identify actionable insights that drive product improvements and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies. You will work closely with product and GTM partners to develop a deep understanding of user needs and pain points across Google's Ads and policies. You will leverage your investigative skills to translate raw feedback into meaningful data points and contribute to the development of recommendations for Product, Engineering, and GTM stakeholders. You will be an advocate for a data-driven approach to understanding user sentiment and contribute to ensuring that feedback effectively informs product development and commercialization efforts. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Conduct in-depth, stand-alone analyses of product feedback data from various sources to identify key trends, root causes, and opportunities for product and GTM improvement. + Apply advanced quantitative techniques (e.g., statistical modeling, regression, etc.) using tools like SQL, Python/R, and statistical software to extract deep, actionable insights and forecast potential impacts from datasets. + Develop compelling data-driven narratives and visualizations that synthesize feedback findings into clear, concise, and recommendations for product, engineering, and GTM leadership. + Design and maintain scalable dashboards and data visualizations enabling stakeholders to self-serve key product feedback metrics, monitor trends, and understand the impact of changes. + Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and GTM teams to integrate feedback insights into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies, acting as a key data-driven advocate.
