As a Senior Product Development & Testing Engineer, you will deliver cutting-edge physical and digital technologies together to create oilfield equipment that is world leading.
 

As a Senior Product Development & Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

Receiving coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.Building your network with internal stakeholders, team members, and other global leaders across Baker Hughes and WMG.Delivering customer outcomes and implement business improvements.Developing multiphysics simulation-assisted pipe design toolDeveloping modelling and simulation capability including mechanical deformation (stress-strain), gas permeability and chemical reaction mechanics.Testing and validation of the flexible pipe design tool in a variety of scenariosPlanning, executing, and managing the KTP project working closely with Baker Hughes and WMG staff.Transfering knowledge and train the global engineering team to properly utilise the multiphysics design tools created during the project.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have a Masters (or equivalent) from an accredited University / College in an Engineering subject and be interested in working towards chartered statusHave a good grasp of core engineering competencies such as mechanics, materials and fluid dynamics.Be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for concept development, innovation and design projects.Have the capability and desire to create good quality reports, drawing and other documentation.Have an awareness to nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations for structural assessment.Have demonstrable experience of independently executing engineering investigations: defining scope, communicating with clients and creating high quality technical reports.Have a technical background and understanding on multi-physics simulations and programming languages
