About the Shopping Experience Team

We are dedicated to making DoorDash a daily habit by helping customers easily discover and access everything their neighborhood has to offer. We lead the core shopping and delivery experience, ensuring seamless discovery, ordering, and delivery.

About the Role

As part of the Ordering Experience design team, you’ll work on main surfaces used by millions of customers daily. You’ll collaborate with teams across the core consumer organization to design and shape the future of the store, menu, and checkout experiences.

This position is open for candidates in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York and will be part of the Shop Experience team. We anticipate that this role will have a hybrid work model, 1-2 days a week in office and the rest working from home. You will report into the Product Design Manager on our Decide team in our Consumer Design organization.

We're excited about you because…  You are a designer with 5+ years of work experience and a consumer experience portfolio showcasing your ability to maintain a high bar for craft at scale.  You have experience leading and delivering great designs in a team environment. You enjoy collaborating across lots of different functions. You can balance strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design to achieve simple solutions. You value high quality well crafted visual design, and care about the details.
