Your ideas can impact the interaction, graphic, sound, and haptic experiences used by millions of people across the world. **Description** The iCloud Design team is looking for an extraordinary, hands-on, digital product designer to create experiences that help users sync, access, and restore their own content from across Apple’s apps and beyond, on all their devices and the web. The iCloud Design team is looking for an extraordinary, hands-on, digital product designer to develop new Cloud experiences. You'll work on the ideation, development, and design of features that help users access their content across their Apple devices, foster connection with collaborative experiences, and promote privacy and security of iCloud data. You will be responsible for researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences based on product requirements. Deliverables include design mockups, prototyping, production of visual assets, and documentation required for proper implementation. You flourish in a dynamic, ever-changing, and deadline driven environment. You are a great collaborator and a phenomenal communicator, able to develop and present design ideas in a large team environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Product Marketing, and Senior Management. You possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principles and have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, you are able to grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to stay highly organized is essential. Interest in new technologies in AI, AR/VR, web, mobile, and other devices is required. You should be a self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision. The work that you design will be seen and experienced by millions of people around the world, every month. **Minimum Qualifications** + 10+ years work experience with a focus on product and UI design across Apple platforms and web + Expert knowledge of user-centered design and visual design principles + A strong design portfolio demonstrating UX, UI, and visual design work for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS; as well as your design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem-solving skills + A deep understanding of the Apple design aesthetic, UI, and history + Deep experience with communicating ideas and pitching designs using Keynote or similar presentation tools, including to senior leadership + Demonstrated ability to build cases for your design proposals and persuade others outside your immediate organization to support them + A great eye for detail, demonstrating creative and innovative problem-solving + Enthusiasm for an iterative design process, inspired by group critique + Highly skilled in Sketch, Keynote, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools + Able to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and prototypes + Expertise documenting interaction details, visual design specifications and QA of the implemented product + Track record of creative thinking and leadership, and cross-functional collaboration in support of influencing product features + Open and collaborative communication skills; capable of working in a multi-disciplinary design studio + Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills + Comfortable working across multiple complex projects simultaneously + Flexible and productive in the face of ambiguity and change during a project **Preferred Qualifications** + Interest and familiarity with AI a major plus, but not required + Previous experience working in cloud services a plus, but not required + Bachelors Degree preferred but not required + High level of curiosity for technology amplified by your design craft + Commitment to designing inclusive and accessible products **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
