Your Key Responsibilities

Are you a passionate and experienced Product Design Engineer looking to take your skills to the next level in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Wooster, Ohio, who has a deep understanding of mechanical systems and a drive for innovation. As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our product range, working on cutting-edge projects that challenge your creativity and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mechanical development engineering activities to create competitive products that meet our high standards. Develop the structure of the mechanical system from the architecture, ensuring all measures from risk analysis are considered in the construction phase. Break down complex structures into manageable subsystems and components, crafting detailed product specifications that guide design and execution. Evaluate existing subsystems and components to identify opportunities for reuse, maximizing efficiency and reducing time to market. Investigate and develop alternative structural solutions, selecting the optimal approach to meet performance and design criteria. Ensure double-sided traceability with the mechanical architecture, delivering work results with meticulous configuration management, including material designation, version control, and storage solutions. Utilize CREO for designing components, crafting innovative designs that are both functional and aesthetic. Employ Windchill and Windchill RV&S to manage product lifecycle processes, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across teams.

 

Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field and 5 years of experience OR  Master's degree in an engineering related field and 2 years of experience External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship

Preferred: 

CREO design experience
