About the Role

ICIS the largest information provider for the petrochemical and energy markets is looking for a bright, analytical minded Product Analyst to support the product team and our transition to a data and analysis company.  
The insight and analysis provided by the product analyst will support the product team in understanding customer engagement, product performance and ultimately help us to make the right business decisions. Product analytics has become increasingly important within ICIS over the last years and as we pioneer new ways of customer analytics such as our Product Success Score (PSS). The new Product Analyst will allow us to drive the developments forward and ensure that all innovation on the product development side is supported by similarly innovative product analysis.
 
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics to support product decisionsCollaborate with product managers to define KPIs for new and existing productsAnalyse customer behaviour to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementLead the development of a company-wide product analytics strategyTranslate business questions into data-driven insightsWork with engineering teams to ensure data quality and availabilitySupport continuous improvement of product documentation and processesManage relationships with internal and external analytics tool provider

Requirements

Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skillsExperience with data analysis tools (e.g. Python, R) and SQLFamiliarity with web analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to diverse audiencesExperience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plusA collaborative mindset and ability to work across teamsMotivation to learn and grow in a dynamic environmentRelevant experience or education in a quantitative field (formal degrees welcome but not required)
