The Job

As a Senior Analyst, Marketing Performance & Optimization, you’ll play a critical role in helping WB Games understand and improve how marketing efforts drive player acquisition, engagement, and retention—especially across mobile and live-service titles. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Performance & Optimization, you’ll partner with publishing, studio, and media teams to deliver actionable insights that shape campaign strategy, media investment, and product decisions.

You’ll work across paid media, CRM, social, community, and owned channels to analyze performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support test-and-learn initiatives. Your work will help unify marketing and player data into clear, decision-ready insights.

The Daily

Analyze marketing performance across mobile and console/PC titles, focusing on paid media, UA, CRM, brand, social, and community channels.Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track key metrics (CPI, ROAS, LTV, retention, engagement) across campaigns and platforms.Support the development of cross-channel measurement frameworks tailored to mobile dynamics.Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights that inform campaign optimization, media strategy, and creative effectiveness.Collaborate with Central Tech, media teams, and external partners to integrate data from ad networks, MMPs, CDPs, store analytics, and in-game telemetry.Assist in identifying player behavior signals that predict long-term value and support predictive modeling efforts.Contribute to test-and-learn programs focused on audience segmentation, creative strategy, and media mix optimization.Partner with Brand Marketing and Franchise Planning to ensure insights inform GTM planning and post-launch performance.

The Essentials

3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, performance measurement, or business intelligence—preferably in gaming, entertainment, or tech.Strong understanding of mobile marketing, ad networks, attribution models, and UA optimization strategies.Proficiency in analyzing marketing metrics (ROAS, LTV, CPI, CTR, retention curves) and connecting them to campaign and product outcomes.Experience working with data platforms and tools (e.g. MMPs, CDPs, store analytics, in-game telemetry).Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.Strong communication skills and comfort presenting findings to marketing, studio, and media teams.Passion for games and player-first storytelling.

The Nice to Haves

Passion for gaming and deep familiarity with industry trends and player communities.Experience with SQL, Python, or other data tools for analysis and automation.Familiarity with media buying platforms (Meta, Google, Unity, TikTok) and creative performance evaluation.Background in mobile-first publishing environments.Experience supporting test-and-learn programs or experimental design.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $86,450.00 - $160,550.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
