Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. If you’re driven by excellence in procurement and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we’d love to connect with you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide technical guidance, including preparation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), bid evaluations, negotiation and award, for Capital Works Contracts, Purchase Orders, etc.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal procedures, while maintaining a high standard of quality across all activities.
Liaise with all stakeholders within the Client’s organization to ensure receipt of process relevant input and ‘buy-in’ as applicable.
Ensure congruence of Scope, Deliverables, and Payment Terms of work packages prior to issuance to bidders.
Soliciting proposals for work packages from multiple bidders, including preparing responses to bidder queries in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Review of received proposals, and preparation of comparative assessment for Client review and approval.
Preparation and / or review of bespoke agreements where required to facilitate works package award.
Providing updates and data for Governmental Reports and Performance Monitoring Systems.
Coordinate procurement efforts across multiple departments, including project management, client teams, and other internal divisions, to ensure seamless execution.
Play an active role in the continuous Quality Improvement Process by fostering a culture of technical excellence and process enhancement.
Support the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with corporate ethics and conflict-of-interest policies.
Undertake additional responsibilities related to the role, as required by the business.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
A minimum of 12 years of relevant procurement experience in engineering and construction industry.
Strong leadership capabilities and a solid track record across diverse procurement functions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Deep understanding of procurement regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
