Job Purpose

To redefine purchasing group/organization and procurement activities for maximizing cost reduction activities by developing new suppliers, evaluation, consolidating existing suppliers and working together with APAC purchasing team to optimize on time “cost effective” parts delivery to support production line.

Key Accountabilities

Create and deploy the division of duties and guidelines of Purchasing Department to be in line with Donaldson's Japan Operations policy and provide supports and instructions to members of Purchasing Department.Provide direction and support to staff in focus areas: Improve suppliers' defective rate/on-time delivery rate, Manage the purchase expense and price negotiation, develop new supplier / Manage existing supplier, Suppliers related compliance.Improve Purchasing Department process in cooperation with related department to contribute to maintain and renewal of ISO/TS certificatesLead the promotion of environment activities to contribute Donaldson's Japan stable business activities and ensure the employees safety and healthy work environmentPlan and implement the individual development strategy including recruiting staff of Purchasing Department to improve productivity and effectivenessResponsible for improvement the productivities and effectiveness of Purchasing Department. by such as optimization of organization effectiveness and participating in Donaldson global activities as one of global assets.

Education Qualification:

Diploma, Degree holder in any discipline (preferably in Engineering).

Relevant Experience:

More than 10 years experiences in purchasing process/MRP/ERP in business,preferred in Automobile industryWorking experiences in multinational companies/overseas location of Japanese companies is preferable.More than 5 years experiences in managerial position

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal JapaneseEnglish: Business level (TOEIC Score: higher than 730)Occasional both domestic & overseas travel may require
