Job Details:

SUMMARY: Position requires an experienced individual to take on the buyer role for our Indirect and Services categories. This role entails reviewing direct materials and automation failure purchase requisitions, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting designated category management. The ideal candidate will oversee various system platforms, including SAP and Fresh Meats to facilitate the approval and creation of purchase orders. Additionally, this role entails conducting research on the implementation of preferred supplier enforcement, which contributes to cost mitigation and savings initiatives. REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; related to purchasing, supply chain management, operations or a related field is preferred.Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience preferred.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct reports.Travel: No travel required.
