Stryker is looking for a Process Safety Engineer to join the growing team supporting further development of the greenfield manufacturing site in Skawina.

What will you do?Supervise process safety for new projects,Conduct training for employees related to the safety of new processes,Participate in the occupational risk assessment process for newly designed works places,Advise and work with the team on compliance monitoring to mitigate risksRisk analysis for new processes- inspecting working conditions and compliance with health and safety rules and legal requirements for new workstations,Analysis of near misses- supervision of safety acceptance of new and transferred machinery,Supervise fire and explosion safety for new processes,Identify and oversee environmental permitting for new processesSupervise of subcontractors in terms of health, safety and environmental protection,Daily EHS activity on the plant.What do you need?Good knowledge of English to read technical documentation and communicate freelyMin. 3 years of experience in a similar positionHigher technical education in occupational health and safety/environmental protection/environmental engineering/fire protection or related and postgraduate studies in occupational health and safetyKnowledge of legal requirements for occupational health and safety, fire safety and environmental protectionPractical knowledge and skills in risk assessment methodsPractical knowledge of process safetyPractical knowledge of fire protection, in particular ATEX-related processes
