Our client is looking for a Senior Process Engineer – Modular Projects

For the Process team, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer – Modular Projects. You will be located in our client’s Global Engineering & Execution Centre in Mumbai, India.

Main Mission:

Design and Detail Engineering of Modularization Projects & Developing PFD, P&IDs. Leading a team of process engineers. Good technical knowledge about Process, Piping, conceptual layout based on PFD. Sizing of equipment like heat exchangers, KO drum, separator, flare network, control valve, PSV, pump hydraulics. Preparation of technical specification/datasheet for equipment (static, rotating, special packages), Technical bid evaluation of vendor offers and recommendations. 3D model review and Isometric checking. Hydraulic study of utility network. HAZOP and SIL study. Perform the interface with the project manager and the interface within our client’s group. Good knowledge about 3D software Aveva, Smartplan, Navisworks. Process Modeling using chemical engineering software (Pro II, Hysys, etc) & Thermal rating (using HTRI software). Knowledge about Aveva Diagrams, Smartplan P&IDs and Tekla, Caesar is appreciated. Must be able to lead multiple disciplines and effectively interface with all disciplines. Must have excellent design-related skills in terms of interpreting designs and helping the design team produce working or production drawings effectively.

Qualification and Experience:

B.Tech. / B.E. (Chemical / Petrochemical). A master’s in chemical engineering is an added advantage. Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience with hands-on EPC design experience for oil & gas projects. Experienced in O&G projects with Engineering or EPC Companies. Special weightage to personnel with modularization experience. Good level of English and Indian language. Must have worked on detail engineering projects as a process engineer in an EPC company.
