Our GFS Food Beverage group is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to support our growing national practice. The successful candidate will:

Have experience in project execution, from initial process studies, support of project cost estimates, through detailed design into construction and start-up. EPC project execution experience is preferred.The candidate should have a clear understanding of the steps of project development and level of detail required in each step of project development.Have experience leading the process design effort for project phase specific deliverables, which include, but are not limited to: design basis, heat and mass balances (HMBs), block flow diagrams (BFDs), process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping instrumentation diagrams (PIDs), equipment list, line list, instrument list, tie-point list, demolition drawings, general arrangements, piping design, and instrumentation design.Have experience preparing packaged equipment / instrumentation / piping specifications and data sheets, request for proposals (RFPs), technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.Have experience reviewing and approving vendor drawings, and managing data interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines.Have experience coordinating and supporting Construction Management in the development of subcontractor packages (ie. millwrights / equipment setters, piping, insulation, field fabricated equipment, etc).Demonstrated leadership ability at the discipline level on a multidiscipline project team.Develop process models with commercially available programs (Aspen, Hysys, ChemCAD) or by building a custom model in Excel.Support business development efforts by developing engineering estimates and supporting proposal development.

This position requires an experienced and competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. The position may require travel to support projects, estimated at 30%.
