OCI Physical Network Engineering is looking for an analytics-oriented Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive critical projects for the Networking New Product Introduction (NW NPI) team. This new team is responsible for developing and executing the processes to introduce new technologies and designs into the OCI network.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Network Engineering , this TPM will operate as a group leader across our organization, partnering with other leaders within Networking, Data Center, Region Build, Service Organizations and Operations to define and iterate on new product processes, as well as drive critical NPI for complex network products.
This role requires the ability to work well with others (cross-functional engagement and unifying towards a common goal are regular activities), use high judgement and business acumen to figure out ambiguous project requirements and unblock issues, and manage up and down (reporting to both sr executives and enabling engineers directly).
The Physical Network Engineering organization operates in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment and requires the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, project planning and the presentation of alternatives. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. They will have a broad scope of experience including network design, network security, compliance, and deployment processes. A background in logistics and finance is also an asset for this role.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years in Technical Project/Program Management experience in cloud/networking/data center domains Direct knowledge of cloud infrastructure and management Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, dive deep, and communicate key metrics to senior management in a timely manner Experience developing new processes, iterating for process improvement Record of meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Strong customer service skills Critical attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:
Strong background in finance, accounting and/or business administration Deep knowledge of multi-input demand planning and supply plan management Thorough understanding of network technologies and logistics, including network design and fabrics, networking protocols, network automation, network telemetry and common hardware platforms
