 Senior Principal Delivery Manager 

Within our Supply, Trading & Shipping (ST&S), business we are looking for someone who will lead the Trading Functions digital delivery team. Trading Functions covers the area of Risk (Credit Risk, Market Risk and Operational Risk), Trader Voice, Compliance & Regulatory Reporting, ROSA (Red Hat Openshift on AWS) and the Integration Layer (IL), Cyber Resilience and HSSE (Health & Safety). The person would be dynamic, well connected with the IT marketplace and would provide a mix of leadership and drive to the Technology resources in Budapest as well as leading a wider distributed team across Europe, India, Singapore and the US.

The Delivery Manager plays a critical role translating strategy into actionable steps and driving successful delivery of products, platforms, and services. This hands-on role is focused on day-to-day decision-making and ensuring the right products, platforms and services are being built and delivered efficiently. This role makes key decisions on feature development, balances customer priorities, and ensures that deliverables are built to meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs, enabling the seamless delivery of impactful solutions.

The role will advocate and lead in this and promote a culture of security and safety in everything that we do.Lead and build the development, operations and capability of the Trading Functions Technology teams (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Trader Voice & Compliance, ROSA & IL, HSSE and Cyber Resilience)Membership of the Technology Supply, Trading & Shipping (ST&S) Leadership TeamEngage with the wider Technology teams for the wider ST&S organisation.Ensure operational integrity, assuring operational compliance with architectural and security standards, as well as compliance and policy controls refined by Strategy, Digital Security or other relevant Regulatory, Legal and Compliance functions.Collaborate extensively with wider Digital technology teams to resolve complex incidents, requests, and problems, and will act as technical advisors on major digital projectsAssure the safe application and adoption of new and updated technologies into the environment, working with customers to ensure requirements are met and respond to blocking issues where neededBuild awareness of internal and external technology developments, managing the delivery of process and system improvements, identifying, and implementing continuous value improvement plans for service engineering and ensuring standard process is shared across the team.

What You will need to be successful:

 Strong academic background; preferably in ideally in Computer Science, MIS/IT, Mathematics, Engineering, hard Science or equivalent work experience.15+ years experience in Delivery Roles with experience managing software vendors or outsourced service providers & teams of company resourcesDeep knowledge in the application of modern Service Delivery methods - Site Reliability Engineering to traditional ITIL, and understanding of Product Based delivery modelsProven experience building and leading high-performing teams.Strong Communications skills and a high ‘EQ’ with the ability to operate across complex business environments and partners up to senior executive levelExcellence in balancing strategic priorities with tactical execution, with solid attention to detail.Outstanding communication and influence skills, with the ability to engage with a broad range of collaborators and prioritize demands.Motivated by the challenges of solving complex problems and a passion for making things happen.

Desirable Criteria:

Development experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Java, C/C++)Project Management experience delivering significant project led change to a business areaBroad experience contributing and collaborating to assist design, plan, implement, maintain, and document services and solutionsExperience working with hyperscale cloud vendors (AWS/Azure) and service optimization within these environmentsExperience championing innovation in operations to enhance efficiency and drive productivity.
