Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant/Developer / Solutions Architect in AWS, Python, Flask applications

As Senior Developer / Solutions Architect, you will design and develop enterprise-ready applications using Python, Flask, SQL and NoSQL databases to work on AWS. You will follow Agile methodology to work on all phases of development including requirements specifications, detailed design, coding modules, testing and then deploying the applications to Production.

Responsibilities
Create solution designs that are efficient and have a high performance for applications to be developed in AWS, Python, Flask, DocumentDB and SQL.
Work with more experienced AWS Solutions Architect groups and Information Security groups to fine tune the design for better performance and security.
Work with clients and operations teams to come up with a delivery plan that gives the most functionality of the application at the earliest possible date and differ the least used functionality for a later delivery.
Splitting up an application to effective modules that can be developed in parallel.
Ensuring interfaces are clearly defined and documented so that all the module work correctly with each other.
Working with the developers to ensure that the application is developed as per the design and schedule; providing clarifications and directions to the developers as and when needed.
Following Agile methodology to develop and deliver the software.
Should follow all the standards in all phases of SDLC including documenting requirement specifications, creating detailed design document, coding modules, testing and deploying by ensuring that all the specifications including coding standards from Genpact and the client are followed.
Should communicate clearly and efficiently within multi-disciplinary project teams and external agencies to complete assigned tasks on time and within specifications
Should follow all software development and security policies and recommendations from Products and Strategy teams to develop enterprise-level applications
Should be able to work on technical issues, help junior developers and seek from other teams if needed.
Build client relationships
Establish process rigor and should be a transformation evangelist

Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Technology/Engineering/MCA

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
As a Solution Architect; AWS Solution Architect certification will be a plus
Python programming, preferably in the last 2 years
Python packages like pandas numpy
In Flask, preferably in the last 3 years
In AWS (Lambda, SQS, SES, RDS, API Gateway, Cognito, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, IAM, Secrets Manager, EC2, VPC, SAM, Transfer Family), preferably in the last 2 years
In SQL databases like MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL
In NoSQL databases like MongoDB/DocumentDB and DynamoDB
Good knowledge of XML, JSON, REST API and SOAP
Excellent code review and debugging skills
Good with handling structured/unstructured data from variety of sources
Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau and MS office is preferred
Experience in Banking and Financial Services domain is preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to cultivate robust working relationships with the team, peers, and clients
Good interpersonal skills, interacting with clients on the technical specialists

