We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Computer Systems Architect with expert knowledge of ground infrastructure requirements and specific automation techniques. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
What you'll get to do?
As a Computer Systems Architect, your duties will include reviewing, understanding and designing automation techniques to address a wide range of infrastructure requirements; understanding of automation for both Infrastructure as Code and cyber hardening/patching; working closely with software and systems engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and blockers are elevated.
Basic Qualifications:
8 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 6 years of relevant experience with Masters; 4 years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeActive SCI/CI Poly required at the time of applicationCurrent Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certificationExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified Windows/Linux DomainsExperience with VMWare implementation, migration, and maintenanceExperience with system design and architectureExperience operating and managing systems within current applicable information systems compliance standardsAbility to interface with all levels of employees and managementPreferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in technical judgmentExperience working as part of an Agile development environmenCurrent CISSP security certification and CCNP network certification or similarUnderstanding information technologies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze high level needs utilizing use cases/scenarios and relate them to the requirementsSalary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
