Position Summary:
The Senior Pricing Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate pricing through the management of pricing databases for multiple operating companies both regionally and nationally. The Senior Specialist provides ongoing support for regional and national accounts and operating company personnel on all aspects of pricing implementation and maintenance. The Senior Specialist works with appropriate personnel in resolving issues that impact the pricing system, sales and merchandising. The Senior Specialist acts as a team lead for the Corporate Pricing team and a first point of contact for questions and solutioning in coordination with the management team.

Position Responsibilities: Accurate and timely pricing through the management of pricing databases at local, regional, and national levelsLead trainer for new pricing specialists to the Corporate Pricing teamSupport national & regional sales teams on all things pricing related including pricing inquiries, contract interpretation, audits, billbacks, best practices and other ad hoc requests as needed.Determine special pricing, set up methodology, and implementation strategy to support contractual agreements with local, regional, and national independent key account customers.Interpret and communicate manufacturer program changes to ensure pricing accuracy maintained; including appropriate sell prices and gross margin percentages (involves contact and decision-making skills with Costing, Merchandising, Information Systems, Sales, Manufacturers and Brokers)Acts as first contact for pricing questions and process concerns from the Pricing SpecialistsAssists in the rollout of new accounts and transitions to other team members.Performs other related duties as assigned.
