About the role:

The ASC/OBL Pricing & Contracting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Boston Scientific’s growth within the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Office-Based Lab (OBL) space. This individual is responsible for managing pricing and contracting operations for all ASC/OBL deals, ensuring seamless execution in alignment with Boston Scientific’s commercial strategy.

The Analyst will lead end-to-end deal management—from intake and pre-deal analytics to Price Council alignment and contract drafting—working cross-functionally with divisional pricing teams, Focus 85 analysts, sales, finance, marketing, and legal. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of ASC/OBL deal structures, strong analytical and financial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

Manage end-to-end execution of ASC/OBL pricing and contracting requests, from intake and pre-deal analytics through Price Council approval and contract drafting. Prepare financial models, cost/benefit analyses, and deal recommendations; present findings to management and stakeholders. Collaborate with divisional pricing teams, Focus 85 analysts, and sales leadership to align on pricing strategy and deal structures. Serve as the central coordinator for ASC/OBL deals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and Price Council requirements. Administer bid preparations, process specifications, and related documentation; maintain accurate historical records and deal pipeline tracking. Monitor contract performance post-approval, analyzing sales, profitability, and compliance results to inform future strategies. Partner with Sales & Marketing on price strategies, product launches, and economic programs that drive ASC/OBL growth. Provide timely reporting and analytics to sales and executive management on contract outcomes and market performance. Actively engage Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and met. Maintain expertise in pricing and contracting systems (e.g., Model N, Salesforce, CPQ) and support process improvements to increase efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with key ASC/OBL customers to support contracting discussions and escalations. Influence and align stakeholders across a matrixed environment, balancing strategic discipline with flexibility as deals evolve.

 

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum 4 years related business experience 3–5+ years of experience in Pricing & Contracting, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, or related business function. Demonstrated experience with analytical modeling, deal execution, and contract management. Experience with business intelligence platforms and contract/pricing systems (e.g., Model N, Salesforce, CPQ). Strong project management and communication skills; proven ability to influence in a matrixed environment.

 

Preferred qualifications:

Experience within Boston Scientific, with deep familiarity of the Price Council process and ASC/OBL-specific deal constructs (e.g., capital programs, procedural bundles). Contracting/Revenue Management systems expertise. Advanced financial background and ability to analyze profitability and ROI of complex deals.

 

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office in Arden Hills, Minnesota; Maple Grove, Minnesota; or Marlborough, MA at least three days per week.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
