Senior Presales Solution Consultant

We’re looking for a Senior Presales Solution Consultant who thrives on solving complex business problems with smart, scalable solutions. If you're a confident communicator with a deep technical background and a passion for helping customers succeed, this is the role for you!

The successful candidate will need to work closely with account executives and technical experts to understand client needs, design tailored solutions, and guide prospects through their decision-making journey.


Key responsibilities:
 

Drives large and/or complex business solutions targeted/assigned customer pursuits predominantly focused on federal government sector.Provides in-depth industry and market expertise as well as technical acumen in developing and executing sale of high-level technical operating strategies, solutions and benefits to meet client's needs and requirements.Delivers and sells the technical solution strategy and vision to senior client executives ensuring the solution embodies Company win themes and key differentiators while meeting client expectations and requirements thereby providing Company the best chance to compete and win.Researches existing industry, market and IT (information technology) services best practices and trends as well as alliances to evaluate and ensure Company solutions and services are meeting the needs of clients. Leverages partner solutions to continuously find ways to solve customer needs. Provides recommendations to offering organization on new offerings, upgrades/augmentation to enhance corporate competency in meeting the needs of customers.Lead and guide a team of solution architects in delivering architectural solutions that meet project requirements and align with organizational standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architecture projects are executed efficiently and in line with architectural guidelines.Participate in the development and implementation of architectural strategies and standards.Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a strong understanding of the capabilities that DXC and partners provide.Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance efficiency and align with business objectives.Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and understand customer challengesDeliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposals that win trust and deals



Basic Qualifications:

Proven experience in a Presales / Solution Architect / Technical Consultant role or sales solutions experienceExperience working within the technology industry, specifically handling significantly sized accountsExperience working with solution/product portfoliosExperience developing winning sales solutions and proposalsExperience working with technology products, services, competencies, solutions and offeringsAbility to simplify complex technical ideas for non-technical audiencesBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong problem-solving and project management skillsEffective communication and team leadership skillsProven experience in leading cross-functional teamsDemonstrated success in implementing cloud solutions in an enterprise environmentContinuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology

Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Active Defence NV1 clearance
