Overview

As a Senior Legal Content Developer/ Senior Practice Area Lead, you will be proactively approaching leading legal practitioners in daily operations, and be a professional marketing facing subject matter expert.

Responsible for the acquisition of legal content from top-notch legal practitioners, including existing authors and commissioning new legal writers at partner level.

You will contribute to the content strategies and content development planning with strong legal market and business sense.

Key Responsibilities

Commissioning new authors and content relevant to practice areaIdentify and maintain record of key parties of interest to practice areaAuthor succession planningAcquisition of content from existing authorsDemonstrate and articulate subject matter expertise in the practice area relevant to portfolioKeep abreast of legal developments within target practice areaIdentify and track core subscriber base for practice areSupport the sales and marketing teams with information relating to content within the product catalogueManage relationships with existing authorsTimely delivery of content from external stakeholders is a key deliverable for this roleAssist in developing product enhancements and product roadmapsWork with Strategy team to ensure alignment of activity to overarching business strategy

LLB or other legal related backgroundDemonstrated practical legal knowledge and understanding of legal marketsExperience in product development would be advantageousExcellent communication skills and people skillsPassion for winning – ability to devise, drive and deliver content strategy
