Job Description
Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a skilled and strategic Portfolio Manager to join our growing Digital & Technology team. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a portfolio of technology projects and programs, ensuring alignment with our strategic business goals and delivering measurable value across the organisation.
You will play a central role in driving project prioritisation, governance, and performance monitoring while fostering strong collaboration between the D&T team and business stakeholders.
This is a flexible home based role, with travel requirements to Head Office in London where required.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all technology initiatives are aligned with Ramsay’s broader business strategy and deliver on key outcomes.
Prioritise and forecast resources, budgets, and benefits through clear planning and roadmapping.
Oversee the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring they stay within agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio.
Lead the development and implementation of portfolio management processes, frameworks, and governance aligned with internal policies and compliance requirements (including CAB, TDA, Security, and Data Protection).
Collaborate with senior leaders, project and portfolio managers, and business units to ensure alignment and transparency across the delivery lifecycle.
Act as a liaison between Digital & Technology and other departments, ensuring priorities and progress are clearly communicated.
Mentor and support project managers and delivery teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in digital delivery.
About You
Proven experience in portfolio or program management within a digital or technology-driven environment.
Strong ability to manage complex portfolios with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Deep understanding of governance frameworks, resource planning, and risk/issue management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at senior levels.
A proactive, strategic mindset and enthusiasm for technology-enabled transformation.
