We’re seeking a Senior Portfolio Accountant to join our newly formed central team at Siemens Financial Services in Poland. This team will play a key role in the support of the implementation of our new S/4 HANA corporate solution SherpaX across various Siemens Financial Services entities.
In this role, you will contribute to the success of the SherpaX project by supporting local Accounting teams in setting up interfaces between local contract management systems and the SherpaX general ledger. You will also set up related accounting processes to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.

You’ll create impact by: Functional designing and testing of accounting engines/subledgers in contract management systems and in the general ledger system Initiating and supporting digitalization and automation initiatives Driving and supporting the implementation and migration to the S/4HANA platform Providing support for internal and external audit activities
Your success is grounded in: A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting within financial services Strong working knowledge of IFRS and the ability to research existing IFRS guidance Experience in the accounting processes of financial services providers Proficiency in SAP systems (R/3 and S/4HANA), along with knowledge of financial services contract management systems A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting or a related field A strong digitalization drive with hands-on experience in automation projects Excellent analytical thinking, paired with strong presentation and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders The ability to thrive in multi-cultural, cross-functional environments, ideally with international project exposure Fluency in English is required, additional European languages are a strong plus Willingness to travel up to 15%
