Senior Sales Manager – Case Ready

 

 

General Summary: Senior Sales Manager (SSM) will be responsible for achieving growth goals against established KPI’s within Case Ready Business Unit.

 

This position will be based out of one of our 7 production facilities (listed below) or out of our Corporate Headquarters in Greeley, CO.

Responsibilities:

Identify sales upgrade opportunities across BU for both bulk and tray packCoordinate sales manager coverage during absences/vacationsTrain new sales managers, as neededMonitor net dock pricing across the BUProvide sales leadership to BU sales managersWork with outside sales to resolve sales issuesAssist in achieving budgeted sales objectives.Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferredMust be able to travel 50+%5+ years' experience in protein (poultry) experience requiredAbility to represent Pilgrims and sell our brand and corporate missionNegotiation skillsBasic computer skills-Microsoft OfficeCollaborative/Accountable/Results driven/ Detail OrientedTeam PlayerSelf-StarterMultitaskingAnalytical and process orientedAble and willing to communicate effectively

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $108,000 – $132,000; Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and Career Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.
