What will you do?

Supervise purchase order execution, plan requisitions, and maintain accuracy from release to delivery.Develop relationships with suppliers to allow for successful critical information flow vital to manage business and improve customer experience. Expedite shipments with suppliers based upon customer requests and high dollar backlog orders to increase revenue recognition.Collaborate with Product Management on lifecycle, portfolio expansion, new product implementation, and conversions. Partner with Suppliers, Customer Service, Transportation, Accounts Payable, Distribution, and Supplier Relations to meet delivery expectations.Implement sophisticated demand sensing to ensure accurate purchasing forecasts, adjusting based on the latest trends. Optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency.Perform daily exception management to drive favorable performance. Review and complete daily workflows that flag purchase order exceptions to mitigate the risk of excess and obsolete inventory.Assume full accountability for end-to-end Key Performance Indicator Metrics concerning our products, such as forecast accuracy, reducing past due backlog, forecast consumption, inventory levels, and fill rate. Strategically monitor and analyze these crucial metrics to guarantee goal accomplishment and proactively apply corrective strategies to improve overall supply chain performance.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, or other relevant degree.Minimum of 2 years of experience concentrating in distribution operations, inventory management, forecasting, supply chain, or transportation is preferred.Experience in a fast-paced, multi-location distribution environment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, SQL, and advanced planning systems (Logility, Oracle, JDA, SAP) is helpful.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an understanding of relationships between planning systems and their effects on inventory and service levels.Proven track record to independently take ownership of initiatives, drive execution, and multitask with urgency in a high-volume environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact across all functional areas and levels of the organization, maintaining a customer-centric mentality.Validated prioritization and interpersonal skills, and the ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
