Senior Planning Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure project under Ashghal in Qatar. The ideal candidate must be MMUP-registered and possess a strong background in planning, scheduling, and project controls within the infrastructure and roads sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities are planned, tracked, and delivered on time, while complying with client and contractual requirements. "" - Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6. - Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, milestones, and deliverables. - Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to gather relevant planning data. - Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effect of changes on the schedule. - Propose mitigation measures to recover slippage or avoid potential delays. - Participate in progress meetings with Ashghal and other stakeholders. - Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and other contractual time-related documentation. - Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with Ashghal requirements and standards. - Support cost control and risk management functions as required. - Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to align schedule with resource and material availability. - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. - Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years on Ashghal or similar infrastructure projects in Qatar. - Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel. - MMUP registration is mandatory - Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and time-related contractual claims. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
