Job Overview:
Sr planner level with experience on multidiscipline subcontract project, working with the EPC(m) contractor. Needs to have, next tpo general construction planner experience, experience with setting up and monitoring progress measurement for construction work executed by Sub-Contractors. 10-15 Years experience.
The Lead Progress Specialist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining Level 3 and Level 4 detailed Fabrication/Construction activity schedules and progress measurement system, with the purpose of providing the Project Management Team with accurate progress, performance, and data to manage the project. This position will report to the Project Controls Manager
The Senior Planner uses McDermott's Planning/Scheduling discipline practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the Planning/Scheduling discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Planning/Scheduling discipline. They solve complex problems and use their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior Planner impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the Planning/Scheduling team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies.
