Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team. In this hybrid role based at our Carson, CA headquarters, you will be responsible for managing and executing the purchase of finished products from both domestic and import vendors for multichannel distribution. The position also involves analyzing historical data, statistical trends and sales reports to forecast future replenishment needs and support demand planning. Applicants should have a background in forecasting and purchasing finished goods, along with a solid understanding of replenishment software. We value a collaborative team environment—so strong interpersonal skills are a must. Experience in retail and import purchasing is a significant plus.

Managing and executing the purchase of finished products from domestic and import vendors for multichannel distributionAnalyzing historical data, statistical trends and sales reports to forecast replenishment needs and support demand planningCollaborating with cross-functional teams on new item launches, product revisions and end-of-life scenariosMinimizing overstock while maintaining a best-in-class fill rateLeading and supporting intermediate-level projects and process improvement initiatives

Master’s degree in Supply Chain (or a bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of purchasing experience in Supply Chain)Experience with SAP or ERP systems is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and productsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and strong math skillsProven decision-making abilitiesA strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-throughAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentA team mindset with the ability to work independentlyStrong leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to train othersAbility to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively

At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore who live within Los Angeles and Orange Counties are typically brought into the organization at a salary rate between $82,000-$95,000 depending on relevant experience & skillset.

This range is indicative of projected hiring range. The annual base compensation will take into account each candidate's relevant experience, location, and skillset.
