Are you ready to take your planning career to the next level? We’re looking for a **Senior Planner Buyer** to join our dynamic purchasing and planning team. In this role, you will manage a diverse product portfolio including compressors, compressor accessories, electronics, and spare parts—working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely, efficient order fulfillment.
This job is based in **Cluj-Napoca, Romania** .
We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of **working hybrid** .
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Develop and maintain the Weekly Schedule for orders and production.
+ Runs the order recommendation, reviews and releases orders accordingly.
+ Reviews daily receivers to release or stage incoming products appropriately.
+ Expedites open POs to ensure timely delivery.
+ Quotes assemblies and production orders based on bills of materials.
+ Enters/updates part item information into the mainframe system Item Balance/Master for new parts.
+ Maintains electronic records for Purchasing and Production as required.
+ Proactively communicates with assigned suppliers on a regular basis. Purchases Orders and coordinates logistics and scheduling as required. Reviews PO discrepancies to resolve open issues.
+ Issue’s formal spare part Request for Quotation to qualified suppliers. Prepares and forwards drawing packages and/or specification requirements.
+ Reviews the overdue order report, inquiries about part order/release status and counts on-hand and available parts.
+ Monitors part receipts and expedites in-plant part movement as required.
+ Obtains supplier delivery information using Overdue order report and Open order report and monitors supplier performance.
+ Monitors and communicates defective or unacceptable goods or services with quality control personnel. Initiates and follow-through on corrective action.
+ Actively is looking for improvement opportunities for Inventory, Lead Times, transport costs.
**For This Role You Will Need:**
+ 3 years’ experience in planning.
+ Medium to higher education (field not critical).
+ Advanced English skills (verbal and written).
+ Strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
+ Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Comfort working in a global, cross-functional environment.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Experience with Oracle or other planning systems/tools.
+ Background in European planning operations.
