LOCATION

Dubai, UAE, primarily Dubai office based with travel to Iraq on a visiting basis required. 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Planning Manager and responsible for planning, scheduling and coordination of the project.

KBR are supporting the Iraq Ministry of Planning with the development of economic and social policies within the varied governmental sectors to achieve the national development objectives. KBR are providing consultancy services covering economic master plan, project prioritization, technical and financial review, project management, ongoing project monitoring and negotiation support.  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESHands on planning and scheduling on strategic levelPreparation and maintenance of the project work break down structure and integrated project master scheduleCo-ordination with Package Managers, Consultants and ContractorsAnalysing and reporting on Consultant and Contractor schedules and progress reportsPerform critical path analysis of schedulesPrepare independent risk analyses of Consultant and Contractor schedulesPreparation of monthly and weekly reports and dashboard using Power BI or similar toolsEXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEBSc construction management, engineering, planning, management information systems or equivalentMinimum overall relevant experience 15 yearsMinimum relevant experience 8 years in the role projectsMinimum Regional Experience 5 yearsRequired professional memberships and charterships required.Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities.Experienced user of Primavera P6.Experienced in producing reports using Power BI and integrating with Primavera to automate reports production.Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques.Ability to effectively monitor and analyse progress, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.Excellent report writing skills.Previous experience in the Middle East is an advantage.Fluency in English both written and spokenArabic speaking advantageous.COMPETENCIESLeadershipStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCommercial awarenessStrong customer focusPlanning & organisingAccepts ResponsibilityHSE Awareness
