Conill currently maintains a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office work every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Attendance at the office on all three in-office days is mandatory. **Overview** We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Strategic Planner to join our team. The role is an essential source of inspiration and strategic support for the agency strategy team, under the supervision of the Planning Director. They must have a professional background in multicultural advertising, the ability to understand and analyze cultural trends, and have a deep passion and expertise of social media. As a “cultural anthropologist” in the digital age, the Senior Strategic Planner will be instrumental in shaping marketing strategies that resonate across diverse audiences. **Responsibilities** It is expected that the Senior Planner will leverage and apply best practices in the use of research tools to understand the category landscape, identify ideal target/audiences and develop impactful messaging. In addition, key responsibilities include: **Multicultural Market Insights:** Leverage deep understanding of multicultural communities to deliver insights that inform strategies for diverse consumer segments, ensuring campaigns are culturally relevant, inclusive and impactful. **Trendspotting & Cultural Anthropology:** Stay on top of emerging trends, cultural movements, and evolving consumer behaviors. Act as an internal cultural thought leader who can predict where the market is headed, and help steer clients toward innovative, trend-forward approaches. **Social Media Expertise:** Utilize your expertise in social media platforms, their evolving algorithms, and user behavior to drive digital-first strategies that engage audiences in meaningful ways. Ensure that strategies are built to succeed in the fast-moving world of social platforms. **Data-Driven Decisions:** Use consumer insights, social listening tools, and other analytics platforms to inform your strategies. You must be able to analyze creative ad performance data to identify learnings that can be applied to subsequent efforts **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work seamlessly with creative, media, and digital teams to ensure that strategies are executed with precision, creativity, and cultural sensitivity. **Compelling Story-telling:** Develop and present well thought out presentations that tell a compelling story, with clear takeaways. Be able to develop insightful and inspirational creative briefs that elegantly draw on first and third party data, consumer psychographics/behavior, and cultural understanding **Qualifications** + 3-4 years’ experience within strategically oriented professional roles. College or Masters Degree (MA, MS, MBA) preferred. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
