What you’ll do

· Conduct regular daily Site visits, attend TBT each day, inspect Contractors PTW and

report deficiencies.

· Actively conduct System Mechanical Completion Walkdowns when invited.

· Attend Project meetings where required.

· Draft construction letters and reports when required.

· Monitor activities of EPC contractor and subcontractors to ensure compliance with

specifications and procedures and report any discrepancies or non-conformances.

· Responsible for the implementation of corporate / project policies, procedures and

instructions within assigned operations.

· To be a Safety Leader, ensuring all safety codes, site specific procedures, requirements

and standards are being complied with.

· To be a team leader, maintain effective relationship with the EPC contractor and

PERTAMINA to create an enjoyable working atmosphere while achieving results.

· Oversight and monitoring of the implementation by EPC contractor and subcontractors

of Mechanical work packages, from approval through work package closeout and testing.

· Anticipates potential problem areas, analyzes and recommends solutions or corrective

actions.

· Works with PERTAMINA operating personnel to coordinate implementation of work

activities.

· Verify items pertaining to their discipline are installed per the drawings, standards and

specifications.

· Punch List and document defective items and maintain reports are generated at each

phase of the Project.

· Verify “HOLD” items that has been identified in the ITP as the PERTAMINA Rep.

· Verify Red Line Documents.

· Actively participate system turnover at each phase of the Project.

· Provide guidance to QA on NCR’s.

· Interface with PERTAMINA and PMC Engineering Team as required.

· Attend site safety walks on a weekly basis.

· Manage responses of site queries and requests from the EPC Contractors in a timely

manner.

· Liaise with Site Personnel, Contractors and Procurement team to obtain schedule and

progress information, help develop schedules and report trends, highlight issues and

trends that have the potential to impact project progress.

· Verify Contractor progress claims and claims for variations.

· Liaise with Operations in planning for construction activities dependent on plant

shutdowns and Turnarounds.

· Provide visible leadership to the PMC and EPC construction teams.

· Provide construction guidance and input to the EPC detailed design.

· Participate in constructability and risk reviews.

· Provide strategic guidance to the EPC construction and management personnel.

· Liaise and align with the PERTAMINA Construction Team members on a daily basis.

· Ensuring the EPC contractor is established and monitored for efficient and competent

execution.

· Discipline Construction Engineers are required to have knowledge in all disciplines and

interact with other discipline engineers if they observe things that are not correct.
