Requirements
Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
PreferredEducation:Certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.
Certification:Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP), with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
PreferredCertification:ACPE Sterile Products Certification
Experience:Two years experience at M. D. Anderson as a Pharmacy Technician or four years as a Pharmacy Technician in a comparable institutional setting.
PreferredExperience:IV sterile preparation experience, ACPE IV Sterile Products Competency, Pharmacy experience training staff and experience in a leadership role
