Job Description

The Business Performance & Insights Senior Manager reports to the Business Insights & Analytics Lead Director.

 

The Business Insights & Analytics team provides the Europe CEO with Executive Support, Performance Management and Business Planning & Initiatives. This is an exciting, fast moving area of the business where we oversee the successful completion of activities critical to the European CEO. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities.

 

You will be part of a small high performing team that automate its processes and enhance the use of self-serviced tools to be used by all stakeholders. You will automate MI processes and driving their continuous improvement in close alignment with the AI and Process Automation team.

 

This role requires a strong commercial, data and business analytic skillset. You will be highly numeric, have excellent working knowledge of excel and experience of managing the mechanics related to reporting including: data extraction, data translation, information logging, analysis and interpretation. You will have the ability to summarise and communicate insightful analysis of key trends, highlighting key Business Risks & Opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

Owns reporting for the monthly European scorecard results

Owns regular reporting and insights on the regional and cluster OKRs

Collaborates with the regional and global Strategic and Commercial Operation leads during annual target setting on the definition of OKRs and business objectives for the year

Engages with business stakeholders to deliver performance insights and to facilitate critical business meetings

Prepares performance updates for regular business reviews 

Champions advanced analytics and automated reporting tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and self-service capabilities, enabling proactive performance tracking and strategic analysis

Partners with market and global stakeholders to standardize and roll out MI, reports, and dashboards, ensuring consistency and alignment with global objectives.

Provides ongoing support and training for effective data utilization and continuous improvement

Provides data and guidance to measure cluster/market performance

 

Business Analysis

·Develops a deep understanding of the European Region’s business drivers and performance, supporting the Europe CEO Office and other stakeholders with proactive data analysis.

·Leads analysis of current trends and Visa Europe's success to support strategic communications for the Europe CEO.

·Delivers proactive analysis of key trends to enhance understanding of operational and strategic risks and opportunities.

·Performs ad-hoc analyses to generate strategic insights based on business needs.

 

Business operations

·Owns the coordination, content generation and review of the Global Quarterly Business Reviews

QualificationsExperience in financial services or payments, ideally with some combination of commercial, operations, and finance experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI Expertise: Expert in creating complex formulas, linking databases, and developing comprehensive MI tools. Leads strategic implementation to enhance business intelligence and performance management, while mentoring team members in using these advanced analytical toolsQualified in one of the following: Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative fieldsAbility to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing to stakeholders at all levelsProven ability to service and support a range of internal and external customers, often in parallel and within a shifting set of priorities.Experience working across European markets in the payments sectorMicrosoft Word, PowerPoint
