Senior Payroll Specialist

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for complete, accurate and timely processing of payroll cycles, payments, statutory filings and reporting, based on payroll calendarDevelop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication with internal and external customersReview payroll errors and follow up with stakeholders as neededCalculate, prepare and enter off-cycle check information for payments that must be issued prior to the next scheduled payrollValidate data quality of outbound interfaces sent to third-party providers Problem solve variances, data errors and processing/payment issues and provide recommended solutionsAdhere to process documentation, company policies, internal controls and payroll performance metricsPerform tasks in compliance with local employment legislation and data protectionDevelop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication with internal and external stakeholdersServe as point of contact for payroll as well as time and attendance related queriesProvide necessary data and clarifications to questions raised by internal or external audit as neededAct as a backup to other team membersAssist with various projects and duties as assigned

Our requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in payroll is requiredBachelors Degree requiredMust be proficient with Microsoft Excel and WordPrevious experience with processing payroll in multiple countriesBasic knowledge of Wage and Hour Laws is desiredCritical Skills: attention to detail; customer service, analytical, communication, organizationalCritical Attributes: team player, dedicated, reliableHigh level of confidentiality and discretionAbility to complete work assignments within required time constraints and meet critical deadlines
