The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for a variety of diverse payroll functions in support of a multi-state, in-house US Payroll operation hosted by ADP. This is an in-office role that can sit in Whitehouse Station, NJ or Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for accurate and timely pay for employees on leave; determine pay impacts of leave approvals, denials, returns in conjunction with statutory benefits and Paid Time Off. Assess required action and initiate pay corrections for an assigned population.Responsible for identification and recovery of leave related overpayments; apply judgment when crafting reasonable payback plans that will maximize timely and full payback.Administer garnishments for assigned population.Upload and reconcile earnings and deduction files directly into to payroll system (i.e., bonuses, commissions, gifted items with gross-ups, etc.)Review payroll audit reports to identify issues and implement necessary remediation to ensure accurate pay.
Perform critical tasks that are prerequisite to provide sign-off to confirm the payroll.
Perform critical post confirm processing including GL expense processing and payroll funding.
Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations for a variety of payroll owned balance sheet accounts.Responsible for cross-year pay back calculations for employees that terminate and owe Chubb funds. Process adjustments in payroll system to reverse wages when repayment is receivedDetermine need for and processes off-cycle checks and reversals.Accountable for the most complex transactions related to earnings, deductions and adjustments to pay. (i.e. severance processing; imputed income items, etc.).
Actively participate in projects in support of new and changing business initiatives that have a payroll processing impact, provide thought leadership and ownership to meet deadlines for all assigned tasks.

The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
