Our Kforce client, a financial services firm located in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst. This position is scheduled as hybrid - 3 days in the office. Summary: This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting HR information systems to drive operational excellence. Duties: * Administer and analyze full-scope payroll processing, including data entry, transaction auditing, and reporting * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations; Reconcile taxes and verify vendor filings (e.g., W-2s, 941s) * Research and implement regulatory changes in collaboration with internal teams and payroll vendors * Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations * Oversee payroll for affiliate companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance * Respond to audit requests and provide payroll-related reporting * Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries from employees and business partners * Track allowances and year-end adjustments for a small expatriate population in coordination with external tax consultants * Manage HR data processes and collaborate with HR and Finance teams for accurate transaction processing * Identify and implement efficiencies in HR data management * Partner with IT and UltiPro consultants to resolve technical issues and oversee system testing and upgrades * Act as the subject matter expert for HR data and systems
