Senior PC Business Partner – Drive Processes Best Practices

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior PC Business Partner to join our Telecommunications business to be based out of Brisbane, Melbourne or North Sydney. In this newly created role, you'll take ownership of PC operations, partner with leaders and subcontractors, drive compliance and training, and focus on longer term strategic priorities.

Our $100m Telco business is fast-paced and ever-changing, delivering major projects such as the NBN FTTN rollout and work with Telstra. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone to bring structure, alignment, and leadership to our PC operations.

Why this role?

This is a hands-on role where no 2 days will be the sameTake full ownership of PC processes and drive real impact.Guide and coach leaders on PC policies and procedures. Focus on day-to-day operations while driving longer term strategic goals. Lead initiatives to address key improvement areas from the recent health check survey.Collaborate with our friendly experienced PC cohort for guidance and support.

Key responsibilities

Partner with Operations Managers and leaders, ensuring compliance, training, and alignment with policies.Manage day to day PC operations to include workforce planning, performance reviews, succession planning, and talent profiling.Coach and guide leaders on performance management and PC best practices.Engage with subcontractors to ensure they feel supported and valued.Balance an operationally heavy workload with longer term efforts to align PC strategy with the business’s objectives.

About you

Would suit an experienced PC Business Partner who’s ready to step into a more senior, autonomous role.

Has a strong grasp of end-to-end PC operations to include compliance, training, change management, and workforce support (return-to-work, parental leave, etc).Is a confident communicator who's comfortable pushing back, challenging ideas, and driving process adherence.Can build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders – from senior leaders to subcontractors needing support.Balances high-priority operational tasks with longer term strategic plans.Has an analytical mindset for solving problems and identifying gaps in processes.
