Your Role:   

As a core technical contributor within the Electronics (EL) Cyber Security team, you excel at supporting the implementation of robust OT security measures and defenses for critical operational environments. In this expanded consultative role, you leverage your in-depth expertise in OT security to proactively identify emerging threats, prioritize vulnerabilities, and support asset discovery initiatives. You work collaboratively with diverse teams, ensuring your insights drive continuous improvement in the organization’s Cyber Security posture. Part of your key responsibilities:  Design and consult on securing OT environments by reviewing and advising on security controls such as IAM solutions for OT, ensuring that Cyber Security requirements are defined and integrated from initial concept to decommissioning. Support OT incident response efforts by assisting the SOC in coordinating responses within the OT landscape, acting as a liaison between OT Engineers, the SOC and further stakeholders to provide dedicated OT security expertise during incidents. Use data analytics to identify new threats and trends, analyze security incidents, and derive actionable insights that support continuous improvement in defense strategies. Evaluate and prioritize vulnerabilities based on your analytical assessments, considering potential impact, exploitability, and overall risk, to ensure remediation efforts are efficiently aligned with business requirements. Support asset discovery initiatives by leveraging analytics tools and techniques to identify and assess OT assets and their digital components. 

Who you are:   

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, Cyber Security, engineering, or a related field. 

3+ years of experience in OT security engineering with 5+ years in Cyber Security, with a proven track record supporting OT incident response and implementing security controls within complex OT/ICS environments. 

Demonstrated experience in utilizing data analytics for threat intelligence, vulnerability prioritization, and asset discovery. 

Deep knowledge of technical security controls and frameworks such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443, SEMI E187, E188, and other industry-specific requirements. 

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GICSP/SANS ICS410, OCSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cyber Security Design Specialist / Risk Assessment Specialist or Maintenance Specialist), with additional credentials or hands-on experience in data analytics/machine learning considered a strong asset. 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to thoughtfully communicate complex technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to evolving priorities in a large matrix organization, and adept at building strong internal and cross-organizational relationships through effective networking and knowledge sharing.
