About the Team
At Hitachi, we are seeking a seasoned Oracle EBS Business Analyst with deep functional expertise and strong technical acumen. This role is pivotal in delivering robust Finance system solutions that support global operations at Hitachi Vantara. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and process excellence.
Role Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging Finance operations and technology. You will lead the design and implementation of Oracle EBS solutions, particularly in the General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable/Procurement (AP/P2P) and Fixed Assets and Tax domains. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle EBS Functional & Technical Leadership
Configure and design Finance solutions in Oracle EBS R12.2.13. Create and maintain functional documentation (BRDs, FSDs, TSDs, test scripts). Lead the design, testing, and deployment of new business functionality and enhancements. Support RICEFW development and testing.Business Analysis & Process Optimization
Analyze and improve business processes around GL and AP/Procurement, Fixed Assets and Tax. Identify inefficiencies and recommend automation or system enhancements. Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements. Support audit and compliance efforts with accurate data and documentation.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of project goals. Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other analysts and team members.Operational Excellence
Monitor payment cycles, invoice processing, and procurement workflows. Identify and implement improvements in the Oracle Financial Areas listed. Support ERP upgrades and automation initiatives. Provide timely updates on project status, risks, and change requests.Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 8+ years of experience in Finance operations with a focus on GL and AP/Procurement. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Oracle EBS and related data tools.Preferred
