If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** * Design, develop, implement and maintain our core Oracle databases. * Maintain our SQL/PLSQL scripts. * Ensure DB availability. Take ownership of performance monitoring of the DB. * Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans. * Determine and document DB policies, procedures and standards. * Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy and integrity. * Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues. * Ensure SLA's & operational PI's are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur. * Will also be the primary SME for our Oracle Goldengate system. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Ideally Oracle Database Certified with 10+ years or more experience. * Advanced expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting database performance issues. * Other experience should include storage management, managing schemas, report generation. * Operating system experience with Unix/Linux. * Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump). * Partitioning, good problem solver focused with strong attention to detail. * Experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24X7 reliability on its database. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, knowledge of Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB) IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
