Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist to support the 777X BDS team in Berkeley, MO!
As a Senior or Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in supporting technical and business activities to meet supplier performance targets, the evaluation of performance throughout all contract phase and a continuous review and analysis supplier assessments. You’ll collaborate with various teams to review of current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance.
Position Responsibilities (Senior - 4):
Leads technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activitiesLeads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phasesConducts and guides supplier assessments. Develops current and projected work statementLeads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plansCommunicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholdersDevelops and executes work movement plansPosition Responsibilities (Lead - 5):
Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programsLeads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programsManages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phasesLeads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actionsLeads the development of company or business unit procurement strategiesProvides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projectsCommunicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholdersManages work movement plansBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in engineering, mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management5+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performancePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in root cause analysis and Corrective actionExperience leading or participating in supplier contract negotiations5+ years of experience with cost proposal preparation on government contracts5+ years of experience working with Commercial Contracts3+ years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacityDrug Free Workplace:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Senior (4): $110,500 - $136,500
Lead (5): $128,350 – $158,550
